I have had several photographs published within the following articles on a Military Aviation website called "UK Airshow Review - UKAR" in 2013.
Fights On - Nellis Air Force Base Red Flag 2013-2 Sounding just like a scene out of "Top Gun", the Red Flag exercises were created in 1975 as a direct result of U.S. air combat experience in the Vietnam War. During the Korean War the U.S. air-to-air kill ratio was 10:1, in Vietnam this dropped to just 2:1. Red Flag was created as a major training exercise to develop the air-to-air skills of U.S. and allied combat pilots to once again increase this ratio and reduce the amount of losses. Creating air dominance.
Viva Las Nellis - Green Flag 2013 Long associated with the famous Red Flag exercises; Nellis AFB on the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada has a rich history of developing America and her Allies combat pilots into some of the most formidable warriors on the planet. Situated alongside the vast Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), Nellis is well placed to provide an excellent spring board for a number of training and testing activities. This has ranged from training World War Two turret gunners all the way up to the modern day with the less well known Green Flag exercises and beyond. There is certainly much more to Nellis than Red Flag.
Dryden X-Planed - NASA Dryden Flight Research Center Report Famous for their exploits in space, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has been the driving scientific force behind some of the most significant developments in aircraft technology since 1958. Operating out of California, the Flight Research and Air Operations Facilities are a fascinating world of Scientific and Technological innovation. Dryden is a place where dreams really do come true.
In 2008 I had an article published on the twinbases website of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge. Sadly the owner, Linn Barringer passed away in 2010, but his daughter still maintains many websites that Linn developed.
Bentwaters Cold War Museum - 1st Open Day June 2008 It was only a 3 hour drive from the Midlands coming off the A14 and going across country on the B1078 past Debach and Dalinghoo to Tunstall before arriving at Bentwaters, totally cutting out Ipswich, and boy what a day !!!! Graham, Alan and their team from the Bentwaters Aviation Society have certainly gone above their expectations by pulling out all the stops and giving the public an insight of what it was like on Bentwaters during those glory days.
